Greg Barsh MDPhD, is an Investigator and Faculty Chair at the HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology, and a Professor of Genetics at Stanford University. He joined the faculty at Stanford University in 1990, and at HudsonAlpha in 2009. He has held several leadership positions for the National Institutes of Health and currently serves as an Editor-in-Chief of PLOS Genetics. His research group studies the developmental genetics and evolution of morphologic variation in domestic animals and natural populations of charismatic mammals.
