Stacie Loftus

Dr. Stacie Loftus is a Staff Scientist at the National Human Genome Research Institute, NIH, USA. Her research has focused on understanding the impact of coding and non-coding DNA variation on disease. This work has led to the identification of DNA variants associated with skin pigment variation in African populations and rare variants responsible for albinism. Currently her studies seek to identify missing genetic heritability in individuals with oculocutaneous albinism.
