Mickey Marks is Professor of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and of Physiology at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his Ph.D. in Immunology at Duke University in 1989 and two post-doctoral fellowships at the National Institutes of Health before joining Penn in 1995 and CHOP in 2013. Mickey's lab studies mechanisms underlying the formation, maturation, and functioning of melanosomes and other cell type-specific lysosome-related organelles.
